Faafu Atoll is one of the most significant atolls helping us to unravel the mysteries of our past. Strategically situated at the centre of the Maldives it was probably a focal point for waves of early settlement. Thor Heyerdahl discovered a wealth of historical treasures in the ruins in this atoll.
